The Impact of Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) in Distance Learning on Students’ Mathematics Performance

In light of the pandemic, traditional face-to-face classes have been forced to convert to online classes at a breakneck pace. And computer-assisted learning has matured in the use of face-to-face math classrooms. But its use in online math classrooms is still an unexplored area. This study was conducted to investigate the differences in student performance in various aspects of computer-assisted learning use in different instructional modes. This study will enable the educational administration to better grasp and develop the functions of mathematics education and provide constructive advice to the development of education in other disciplines. In addition, this study advocates the role of student performance, student self-efficacy, motivation, and student attitude have a positive role in guiding the future direction of computer-assisted learning-integrated distance education and will greatly contribute to the development of distance education.
