Exploring the Mainstream Learning Approaches to Enhancing Learning Efficiency in the Background of Big Data

As an important technological implementation in learning scientific learning styles, big data plays a pivotal role in enhancing learning efficiency. However, researches on the mainstream learning styles for enhancing learning efficiency in the background of big data are rare, the bibliometric tool POSTCM6 and the critical reading method were adopted in this paper, after analyzing 791 papers in CNKI, it could be concluded that the study of learning styles in the background of big data is of significance. The development history of it could be divided into two phases: the period of 2009-2014 which is during the latent period, and the period between 2014 and 2022 which was rapidly developing. There are five mainstream learning approaches to enhancing learning efficiency in the background of big data: personalized adaptive learning, blended learning, flipped classroom, smart learning, and autonomous learning. Finally, the challenges faced by the 5 mainstream learning approaches to enhancing learning efficiency in the background of big data were summarized and suggestions were made to provide a vital reference for researchers and practitioners.
