Research on Wireless Communication Distance Test for Mobile IoT Devices

Communication distance is an important indicator of mobile Internet of Things. How to accurately and efficiently test the effective communication distance is of great importance to the security application and reliability evaluation of the mobile Internet of Things system. This paper first analyzes the transmission loss of wireless communication link, and according to the challenges of current test methods such as the controllability of test environment, an indoor pull distance test method is designed. Finally, the OTA performance of smart handring is tested based on reverberation chamber and full-wave anechoic chamber, and the accuracy of different pull distance test methods is discussed. Based on the theory and experiment, this paper puts forward a more accurate method to measure the effective action distance of the mobile Internet of Things, which is of great practical value.
