Detection of Degradation in Infrastructure using IoT

Civil infrastructure monitoring is crucial for tracking ageing, damage, and eventually preventing catastrophic breakdowns that jeopardize human lives. From an economic and a life safety perspective, it is essential to be able to continuously and finely monitor the integrity of a variety of structures. This process is known as structural health monitoring and use cheap, continuous, and long-term measurements. We offer a cheap wireless sensor node that is designed for enable modal analysis over extended periods of time while maintaining a long-distance connection and low power consumption. The proposed approach uses sensors like Gyro sensor, Ultrasonic sensor, Vibration sensor, and Load sensor. Long-distance wireless connectivity, no-cable installation, to the best of our knowledge, multi-year lifespan is a one-of-a-kind combination of attributes that is not available in any commercial or research gadget.
