A Behavior Modelling and Analysis of Lithium Ion Battery

The need for increasing the life time and performance of battery modules is a challenging issue in the industrial applications. The estimation of capacity, nature of charging and discharging patterns of every cell in the battery module, its temperature and few determines the performance of the battery. This work focus on three different approaches to study the performance of Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery. The design of Electric Circuit Model (ECM), development of low-cost experimental setup and the Machine Learning (ML) approach to analyze the battery characteristics. This work uses 12V Li-Ion data for both ECM modeling and ML based analysis. The results obtained validates the effectiveness of the model developed.
