Smart IoT based an Intelligent System for Needy People to Recognition Voice Detection of Obstacle

The sense of vision, which is a gift from God to humans, is crucial in human lives. However, some individuals are unfortunate enough to lack this ability, and this can make their daily lives difficult, particularly when they visit new places. This work proposes a device for visually impaired, which provides voice output to alert them from obstacles using ultrasonic sensors and an ADXL325 sensor. The system also involves a Global System for Mobile Communications module, voice IC, microphone, and buzzer. The device alerts the blind people from the obstacles. A walking stick equipped with an ultrasonic detector is used by blind individuals to detect obstacles in their path and also two sensors, one for obstacles finding and another for the movement of the stick in right or left direction. HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor is used in this work, that will indicate the range of obstacles up to 13 feet away. This design suggests a low-cost walking stick that makes use of the latest technology and creative design. With spoken announcements and a buzzer, it warns the blind users from the possible dangers. The stick also has a water detector to warn the user of wet areas and avoid accidents. It will improve the safety travel for the blind person to move from one place to another.
