An Innovation Development of Document Management and Security Model for Commercial Database Handling Systems

A document-object can contain multiple representations (forms) of the document, and the system automatically synchronizes the contents of all representations when one of them changes. With this feature, the computer allows the client to view and annotate PDF documents in Adobe Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Exchange (the Acrobat Exchange document is included with EDMS). A document EDMS operates according to a three-tier client-application server-document database model. The Doc Base document base can store the contents of documents in both a network file system and a DBMS. Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, or Informix: Doc base stores document attributes under the control of one of the base SQL servers. It should be noted that document cards are optional in Documentum EDMS, but are generally used for convenience. Also, depending on the user's rights, a single document may contain multiple cards that show only the attributes required and allowed by the user.
