Computing Knowledge and Attitude Scores on Impact of Community Based Educational Package Developed for Rural Post- Menopausal Women

Menopausal symptoms are the result of cessation of menstrual cycles permanently, which is recognized at the end of 12 months amenorrhea. Dry vaginal areas, hot flashes as well as nervousness and sleep issues are the most common manifestations due to a deficiency of estrogen. These conditions not only cause severe discomfort and illness for women in menopausal stages, but also require extensive planning for the country's healthcare system. Being aware of the changes and gaining insight into the root causes is essential for women of all ages and helps them take a positive approach. The present paper determines the efficacy of Community Based Educational package (CBEP) on Menopause Knowledge and attitudes among rural Punjabi postmenopausal women.
