A High Gain 5G Millimeter Wave Slot Antenna

To meet the work requirements of the fifth generation mobile communication, a high gain wideband substrate integrated waveguide slot antenna for 5G millimeter wave is proposed. By etching double inverted “L” and “cross” slots in the substrate integrated waveguide cavity. The antenna resonant working frequency is 28.07GHz.-15 dB impedance bandwidth up to 2.18% (27.74-28.35 GHz). The gain at the central operating frequency is 9.42 dBi.
