IoT-Based Device for Indoor Premises Relative Humidity Control

The subject of this article is an electronic device based on IoT technology, for the control of relative humidity in a room. The IoT-based electronic device is part of a developed electronic system with implemented algorithms and criteria for providing comfortable conditions in a room. A mobile application has been developed through which remote control of relative humidity is carried out. Research has been done with a dehumidifier, which gives us reason to say that the correct choice of the dehumidifier in relation to the volume of a given room is essential. The obtained results show that the value of the relative humidity in the most severe mode "Long absence" can be reduced to the required values, according to the proposed criteria, within a twenty-four hours period of time.
