Research on the Impact of High-Speed Railway on the Regional Industrial Structure of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Based on GWR Model Analysis

China's high-speed railway (HSR) network has developed rapidly in the past ten years. Taking the urban agglomeration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as an example, this paper used a network geographically weighted regression model (GWR) to study the changing trend of economic activity redistribution between cities in the high-speed railway era (2025) and the general-speed railway era (2011) through local modeling. Through modeling and analysis with the help of econometric geography, it is found that the regression coefficients of GWR can reflect the net inflow and net outflow of economic indicators in different cities in terms of investment and consumption of residents. The results of the analysis show that the era of high-speed rail (2025) makes economic indicators flow more rapidly and significantly changes the spatial distribution of economic activities. In a word, on the one hand, the high-speed railway has changed the destination of investment activities, making the exchanges between the urban agglomeration in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the surrounding urban agglomerations more frequent.
