An All-Optical Analog-to-Digital Converter with Enhanced ENOB Based on Modulo Operation and Fourier-Prony Recovery

An ENOB-enhanced scheme is proposed by combing an all-optical analog-to-digital converter with modulo operation and Fourier-Prony recovery. Simulation results show that this scheme improves the quantization levels from 10 to 30, i.e. improves ENOB from 3.3 bits to 4.9 bits, without increasing any hardware cost.
