SnF with Balanced Storage Use in Optical Circuit Switched (OCS) Networks

Balanced resource use is often critical to improve network stability and reduce cost. In this paper, we study the storage utilization in SnF circuit-switched networks and propose a storage balanced routing strategy based on time-shifted multilayer graph (TS-MLG). Simulation results show that balancing storage use can improve storage and link utilizations, therefore, improving the network performance.
