Study on functional positioning evaluation system of pumped storage in different areas

At present, countries around the world regard the development of new energy as an important starting point for ensuring energy security and promoting energy transformation, and pumped storage has ushered in a new round of development opportunities. However, the functional positioning of pumped storage is too ambiguous to be widely understood. In this paper, a pumped-storage function evaluation system covering “Security assurance - Peak-load shifting - New energy consumption - Basic operation” is established, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is embedded into this model, and the functional positioning evaluation system of pumped storage in different areas in China is revealed.
