Indoor main transformer heat dissipation performance optimization and enhancement scheme design

Substation is an important node of electric energy transmission network, and the steady development of economy and society demands higher and higher reliability of power supply. By placing electrical equipment indoors, the building appearance can be perfectly coordinated with the environment, and has the advantages of small footprint and low noise pollution, therefore, the indoor substation has become the main way to build “resource-saving, environment-friendly, industrialized” substation for power grid companies. However, due to the limited indoor space and concentrated heat generation of equipment, ventilation and heat dissipation is a key issue to ensure the safe operation of indoor substations. In this paper, taking the 110kV Xiba substation of Kunming Power Supply Bureau of Southern Power Grid Company as an example, a set of indoor substation transformer auxiliary heat dissipation device is piloted to improve the heat dissipation efficiency and optimize the heat dissipation performance of indoor main transformer by changing the structure of transformer heat sink and external secondary heat dissipation.
