Optimization of thrust fluctuation of 2D permanent magnet synchronous linear motor based on ANSYS Maxwell

Permanent magnet linear synchronous motors are widely used in precision motion platforms. Thrust fluctuation is the main factor affecting the motion accuracy and positioning accuracy of the precision platform system. Therefore, this subject takes the 11-pole 12-slot permanent magnet synchronous linear motor as the optimization object, and takes the optimization of thrust fluctuation as the optimization variable by chamfering the primary edge of the linear motor. The optimization design is based on ANSYS Maxwell 2D, and the finite element simulation results show that the thrust fluctuation of the motor after optimization is significantly reduced compared with that before optimization; finally, the main performance of the motor before and after optimization is significantly improved.
