Comparative Analysis of Wind Load of Transmission Lines at Home and Abroad

By comparing the calculation methods of line wind load and tower wind load at home and abroad and by applying different domestic and foreign norms to the trial calculation of the dry font tower, it is concluded that the line wind load effect accounts for about 75% of the total wind load effect, and the tower wind load effect accounts for about 25%. The 50 years of the Chinese norm are roughly comparable with those of the IEC standard and the 100 years of the American guideline. The 100 years of Chinese standard are roughly equivalent to 150 years of IEC standard and 400 years of American guideline.
