Numerical simulation study of the flying law of behind-armor debris based on AUTODYN

Under normal circumstances, experimental methods are used to study the scattering law of debris behind the target, which will consume a lot of manpower, material and financial resources. However, due to the strong randomness of the debris behind the target, they only rely on theory. Analysis is also difficult to predict the scattering law of debris behind the target. Based on this, this paper will use the method of numerical simulation to verify the reliability of the numerical simulation method based on the experimental results to study the scattering law of the explosively formed projectile (EFP) after penetrating the armored steel target of finite thickness. The results show that: (1) The landing speed mainly has a strong influence on the position distribution of the debris behind the target, but has a small effect on the number of debris behind the target; (2) The thickness of the target plate has a significant effect on the position distribution of the debris behind the target and the target The number of falling points of the rear debris has a very strong influence; (3) The position of the falling points of the rear debris is very scattered, and its outline boundary is difficult to describe.
