Research Progress on Detection Technology of Small Magnetic Targets on Moving Platforms

With the advancement of motion platform control technology and the rapid development of high-sensitivity magnetic detectors, the technology of magnetic field detection for small magnetic targets using UAV platforms has become a new research hotspot. Starting from the typical application of magnetic field detection of unexploded bombs by motion platforms, this paper analyzes the characteristics of four types of UAVs in the field of aeromagnetic detection. The article points out that the multi-rotor UAV is an excellent platform in the field of aeromagnetic detection, and focuses on the detection characteristics of the UAV aeromagnetic detection system equipped with different types and numbers of magnetic detectors. Finally, this paper summarizes the technical difficulties of using UAVs to carry out aeromagnetic detection and puts forward suggestions for the further development of magnetic field detection.
