Mathematical modeling of methane-hydrogen fuel combustion processes in Aspen Plus

This article is devoted to the study of hydrogen energy industry in the Russian Federation and the prospects for the application of methane-hydrogen fuel in boilers using the mathematical model developed at Aspen Plus. Analysis of the effect of adding hydrogen to gas fuel for boilers is performed. Due to the mathematical model, the dynamics of changes in the content of CO
2
and NOx in the exhaust gases after the boiler are analyzed, corresponding dependencies and graphs are designed. The basic principles of modeling in the Aspen Plus environment are shown.
