Comparative Analysis Of Solar Fed DC-DC Converter Controlled With Different Types Of MPPT Algorithm

This article examines and compares five distinct configurations of non-isolated DC-DC converters (BOOST, BUCKBOOST, CUK, SEPIC, and ZETA) that are controlled by two different Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms. i.e., INCREMENTAL CONDUCTANCE (INC) and FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER (FLC) under constant (i.e., $1000\mathrm{~W}/\mathrm{m}^{2}$) and variation in irradiation (i.e., $1000\mathrm{~W}/\mathrm{m}^{2},800\mathrm{~W}/\mathrm{m}^{2},500\mathrm{~W}/\mathrm{m}^{2}$) at constant temperature condition of 25°C and comparison is made in terms of efficiency under these irradiation condition. The properties of these converters are analyzed to determine which configuration is best appropriate for the Photovoltaic (PV) system being employed controlled with INC and FLC based techniques. The comparison of 2 MPPT techniques is done on same topology of converters and same specification of the PV module for proper analyze of design. The system designing and modelling of passive components for 220V at the output from input of 145V of PV panel is carried out. The design performance and results of system is carried on the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
