Intelligent UV-Based Insect Hunter for Countryside Farming

Agriculture is the primary occupation in India. Each year, farmers face the issue of various pests, which harm crops and reduce productivity. Therefore, Farmers must use pesticides to safeguard their crops. An earlier study discovered that the ultraviolet light from the light-emitting diode tube could be used to catch a "Palm Hispine Beetle," a pest that damage coconut and other palm species. The purpose of the research is to create a solar-powered insect trap that catches insects by including an ultraviolet light-emitting diode pipe powered by a 12-volt battery. The battery system stores electric current produced by 20 w at night, solar cells are used. The Photovoltaic Electricity Insect Trap suggested has an intelligent control mechanism that lures pest species in the absence of sunlight, and the system does turn off whenever the sun is shining. The system implementation tests showed that the Photovoltaic Electricity Pest - Insect Trap could work. attract a wide range of insect pests in vegetable matter, such as True Bugs, Western Corn Rootworm etc.
