Development of Automatic Oil Filling System in Wood Pressed Oil Industry

Through improved production and manufacturing techniques, automation has recently had an impact on a wide range of businesses. A tank, bottle, or other container can be included in a liquid filling machine in order to fill the liquid. When liquids need to be packaged in various sorts of containers, such as in the food and cosmetics sectors, liquid filling machines are crucial pieces of equipment. With the aid of this machine, waste is reduced and containers may be quickly and easily packed. This study has developed an automatic liquid filling machine. The parts utilized in this project include a controller, a valve, a DC motor, an IR sensor, and a conveyor belt. The machine's operation and potential applications are covered in the paper. The proposed project is a combination of electronics and mechanical work and it is used in industrial production and it is also suitable for small scale industries. Due to advancements in system performance, process control, and production time reduction, automation has recently had an impact on a range of industries outside of manufacturing. Small-scale makers of liquid goods like detergents, liquid soaps, fruit juices, milk products, and bottled water have recently become more prevalent in Zimbabwe. Low production outputs and losses from spillages are the outcome of manual filling techniques. Modern bottling systems are expensive to purchase because they are often made for large-scale enterprises. The proposed project uses a controller in the automation business to construct a bottle filling machine. The primary goal is to develop and build a compact, straightforward filling system using a controller. The bottle is moved using a belt conveyor. A DC pump is connected to the tank to regulate the flow of oil. An infrared sensor locates the bottle so that the pump can operate when it is needed. Oil is pumped into the bottle once it is positioned beneath the tank. The small-scale bottle filling system used in coffee shops, juice bars, oil refineries, and other beverage businesses can all benefit from this filling machine’s low cost.
