A Compact Single-fed Multiband Antenna for Telematics Control Unit Applications

This article presents Telematics Control Unit (TCU) based fourth generation (4G) antenna. Design consists of two meandering element, staircase and C-shaped capacitive elements to obtain the desired frequency response and it has an advantage of all the fourth generation frequency bands in a single device simultaneously. . The designed antenna is fabricated and measured the signal strength performances. It has better signal strength level of 25. The radiation pattern performance is observed for all the required frequency bands and it has better shapes in all the frequency bands.
