Analysis of Hybrid Inverter with Solar Battery Charging System

People highly depend on electricity for performing daily activities, therefore a sudden power loss might have a big impact on community economies and social structures. Although inverters are frequently employed in home and industrial settings to act as a backup power source in the event that the utility networks electrical supply is interrupted. However, using heavy load applications causes the inverter to shut down due to the battery's low capacity. To overcome the problem of shutdown of inverter due to heavy load appliances and power quality fluctuations hybrid inverter with solar battery charging system is the best solution. The main aim of this project is to supply an uninterrupted power supply to such a load applications where short period of power outage may also leads to severe impact i.e., critical load applications. The main goal of project is to make the critical load applications independent of main power supply during prolonged mains power outages. So, in order to accomplish the target of our project the total load has been divided in to two categories critical load and non-critical load and also estimate the number of solar panels and batteries and their respective ratings are required for installation. But the installation of number of solar panels and batteries and their respective ratings are higher in requirement for total load application when compared with installation only for critical load application. So, estimation of number of PV panels and batteries required for installation of total load application are analyzed and compared this with estimation of critical load application. The mains power supply itself serves as the first of two sources to charge this battery. As a result, this inverter can operate for extended periods of time and give the user an uninterrupted power source to critical load applications.
