Formation of Autonomous Campus Microgrid with E-Tap Simulations and Validation

The demand for more and more utilisation of renewable energy is increasing. Also, the self-efforts to form microgrids are tremendous than too far self-powered microgrids. To this effect, this work is done to form an autonomously powered campus microgrid. The annual average load is taken for design and formation of autonomous microgrid. Detailed estimates are made component wise and a balance between supply and demand is arrived. Simulations are carried out on and validations are done with E-Tap, the power system analysis software. Finally, conclusions are drawn about formation of self-powered campus microgrid.
