Smart Identification of Nutrient Based pH for an NFT Hydroponic System

High yielding and healthy crops are essential in modern day agriculture that can easily be achieved by smart farming technology which is used for making farms more intelligent in sensing its controlling parameters. Hydroponics is a form of gardening that uses no soil, but instead growing plants in a solution of water and nutrients. Plants grown this way usually yield more, require less space. For smart farming, farmers must be equipped with an monitoring system through which they can access and analyze farm data that effects the growth of the plant. The automatic monitoring and control of the environmental events such as pH, electrical conductivity, water temperature, and relative humidity is carried out by lodging sensors and actuators onto the system. In our work we use Nutrient film technique System(NFT), where the system is integrated with IoT and is monitored by sensors. Tiny air stones are created via air pump which facilitate required oxygen to the plants.
