Research on Agile Modeling Approach for Power System Control Equipment

In order to increase the effectiveness of simulation and decrease the manual operations of simulation specialists, an agile modeling approach for power system control equipment is proposed in this paper. The simulation model generates with the program after using image recognition technology to identify all of the transfer function links in the diagram and their connections. To address the issue that the signal lines are difficult to identify, a sliding window is made to gradually detect the image. The eigenvalue distribution of the covariance matrix reflecting the grayscale changes of the window pixels yields the coordinates of the signal line endpoints, inflection points, and signal lead points. Finally, a Simulink simulation model is automatically created from an image file using a dual input power system stabilizer as an example. The result demonstrates that the proposed approach is effective and accurate.
