Dynamic Reconfiguration Method of Partially Shaded PV Array Based on Traveling Salesman Problem

This paper proposes a novel reconfiguration method for partial shaded PV array based on traveling salesman problem (TSP). In this method, the optimal PV array reconfiguration is first framed as the TSP. Furthermore, simulated annealing (SA) algorithm is used for solving the reconfiguration problem based-TSP, in order to mitigate partial shading of PV array. The proposed reconfiguration method can change the electrical connection by switching transformation dynamically, so as to balance the line current of PV array. The simulation and experiment results show that the proposed reconfiguration method can effectively reduce the generation of multiple peaks, and improve the global maximum power of partial shaded PV array, of which the increased rate even reaches 20.32%.
