CFD Calculation of Transonic Flow Around Airfoil

In order to quickly and accurately calculate the flow characteristics of the wing flow, the influences of the turbulence model and the thickness of the boundary layer mesh on the accuracy of the simulation were investigated, and the CFD calculation of the wing flow was carried out.Taking a typical airfoil as an example, the numerical simulation was carried out in four states: non-viscous flow model, y+≈30 turbulence model, S-A turbulence model with different y+ values viscous mesh and y+ ≈ 50 flow field adaptive mesh.By comparing the numerical simulation results with the experimental data, the calculated pressure coefficients of the lower wing surface and trailing edge of the wing under several states are in good agreement with the experimental data. The comparison results show that the Transition k-kl-omega 3eqn turbulence model and Y+ viscous mesh adaptive can more accurately simulate the transonic flow around the flow.
