An Electric Field Probe for Wide-Band Intense Radiation Field Measurement

Electric field intensity is an important characterristic parameter of complex electromagnetic environment, and electric field probe is an effective tool to measure it. In this paper, an electric field probe for measuring 2~700MHz intense radiation field is introduced, which contains five part: short dipole, impedance conversion module, integral operation circuit, amplifier and optical communication module. The probe was calibrated in TEM cell, the antenna factor fluctuates within 10dB in this frequency band. The probe can measure the field intensity of 3~300V/m, and has a strong ability to withstand intense radiation.
