Research on the Trend of China's Automotive Fuel Consumption Standards Based on Carbon Emission Peak Target

The Chinese government has put forward the 3060 dual carbon strategic goal., and reducing automobile carbon emissions is the primary measure. To reduce automobile fuel consumption and carbon emissions., China has formulated automobile fuel consumption standards by 2025. We are currently studying and developing vehicle fuel consumption standards for 2030. This study analyzes the factors affecting vehicle carbon emissions and identifies the impact of fuel consumption limit standards. Through multi-scenario analysis., the study found that to ensure the 2030 carbon emission peak target., the fuel consumption limits standards of traditional vehicles needs to reduce by at least 10%., and 15% is more significant to ensure the carbon emission target.
