Study on the Application of Stratospheric Communication in Medium-Long Range Communication of Surface Ships

Aiming at the current situation of insufficient medium and long-range communication support capability of surface ships in the maritime battlefield, the strategy of solving this problem by means of stratosphere communication is proposed. The advantages of stratosphere communication and its role in maritime battlefield communication are analyzed, and the effective coverage radius of stratospheric communication platform is simulated and analyzed. The results show that stratospheric communication can be used as a means of medium and long-range communication in surface ships. At last, we do a deep research on the networking mode of stratosphere communication.
