Precision studies and comparative analysis of Salophen-Pb and Salophen-UO2

In order to study whether a certain schiff base complex has the function of capturing Pb, the molecular structure, spectroscopic properties, and the stability of the complexes and the ability of the salophen to capture lead ions or uranyl ions were compared and analyzed. The experimental results confirmed that the salop hen could be used for the capture of lead ions, and the salophen- Pb complex formed after capture has obvious spectroscopic characteristics, and can be well detected by ultraviolet spectroscopy. More importantly, the ability of salophen to capture Pb ions is even more than ten times stronger than that of uranyl ions, and the complex salophen-Pb is more stable than salophen-UO
