Classification and Analysis of Diabetic Foot Ulcers: A Review

In this growing population, the importance of medical care is steadily increasing. With the rising risk of diabetes, the most prevalent disorder is Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU). A bacterium or tissue inflammation in the feet can lead to foot ulcers, which are marked by reddish skin on the tissue and nearby area of the foot. A person with diabetes has a 10%-23% chance of contracting DFU, which could also lead to a lower limb amputation if great treatment is not provided. The purpose of this review is to summarize the causative factors and pathologic of diabetes complications, addition, to differentiate prediction frameworks, and emphasize the current structure of this serious and untreated medical issue that provides an alternative way to deal with a technology firm. This performed better than the tested deep learning and conventional machine learning classifications. Here, we review the various types of DFUs and how deep learning algorithms are used to detect and classify various DFUs.
