Control of Rumor Spreading in Online Social Network Through an Epidemic Model

The present mathematical model developed for reducing the spreading of rumors in online social network, electronic commerce and in online community. On the basis equilibrium points and reproduction number, stability of the projected model has been analyzed. The success or failures of any rumor attack depend on reproduction number that represents epidemic threshold. For the validation of proposed mathematical model, simulated data have compared with the results available in literature.
