The project ‘Automation of Customer Relationship Management for IT Industries’ is basically a web-based project for automation of the presales cycle that is going on in the organization for finalization of the deals. There are many CRMs available in market that offers a wide range of services such as team management, team collaboration, project management, contact management, leads management etc. In any organization, the first point of interaction is the presales. First of all, the leads interact with the client and prepare a Software Requirement Specification document which contain all the requirements that client want to get implemented in project. Then presales team will prepare a time and cost estimation report and send it to the review team. If the review team approves the report, then it is handed over to the client else it is sent back to the presales team for further revision of time and cost. It helps to increase the customer retention and acquisition for an organization. CRM refers to all the technologies and tools that is used by organizations to develop and organize all the processes and details of the customer. It includes all the essential services to contact with the user such as email service etc.
