The Dynamics of 2S2E-IR Rumor Propagation Model for E-commerce

In this paper, we have proposed a 2S2E-IR rumor propagation model to show how rumor affects the e-commerce by dividing its cyber consumers into two types: steady and radical consumers. Factors like individuals’ connections in social networks, education level, credibility of rumor, fuzziness of rumor and individual’s personality may play vital roles in rumor propagation. Role of these dynamics in rumor spreading process among cyber consumers are described in our model using ordinary differential equations. Epidemic threshold or basic reproduction number of the model is obtained through Next-generation matrix. We obtained the stability of our model using Jacobean matrix. Numerical simulations through MATLAB are performed to validate the vitality of the model developed.
