Study on Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles for Dye Degradation and Sensing Applications by Plant Extracts

for decades, Silver is a benign, inorganic antibacterial/ antifungal substance. Silver has a lot of potential in biological applications, especially in nanoparticle form (NPs). Green synthesis processes are also cost effective and have a wide supply of raw ingredients. Many attempts have been made in the last few years to develop new greener and less expensive nanoparticle synthesis technologies. In contrast to past synthesis methods, which used damaging reductive organic species that produced hazardous by-products, the goal has been utilize less harmful synthesis methods. This ecologically friendly component and it is vital in combatting pollution by eliminating hazardous materials. Antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties of AgNPs have been exploited in agriculture and medicine. Many bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Bacilluscereus,Pseudomonasaeruginosa,Vibrioparahaemolyticu-s,Escherichiacoli,Citrobacterkoseri, Salmonellatyphii,Klebsiella pneumonia and the fungus Candida albicans, have been shown to be inhibited in their growth and multiplication by Ag NPs. This results in cell death and prevents cell reproduction. Pathogens can damage food goods; hence Ag NPs are also utilized in packaging to avoid this. Ag NPs' toxicity is determined by their size, concentration, medium pH, and time spent in contact with pathogens. Green synthesis aims to limit the usage of toxic chemicals in particular.
