Measuring Quality of Water in Real Time Environment by Using Sensors

Water pollution is one of the biggest threats to all living beings. No wonder there is a huge need to monitor water quality using technology. Water quality monitoring is one of the major problems in the country. To guarantee the efficient supply of drinking water, the quality should be monitored in real time. This can be achieved through internet of things (IoT). The System consists of various sensors for measuring the water parameters like pH, turbidity, temperature. All the sensors are connected to Raspberry pi. The values read by sensors are stored in microcontroller and are visible on smart devices. The device has user interface through Blynk app. The Blynk app displays readings on screen which helps us to analyze the parameters and know the quality of water. The experiment was conducted for pure and impure water and got accurate results.
