K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm Method for Phased Array Calibration

This paper proposes a calibration method for phased array antenna which is based on KNN(K-Nearest Neighbor) algorithm. This method has the characteristics of the REV(rotation element electric field vector) method in calibrating phased array antenna, such as high precision, low complexity, only measuring amplitude, field measurement, etc. But the REV method does not consider the coupling between array elements. This is the reason why the REV method still has some errors. In this paper, all the data are obtained by the superposition principle of electromagnetic field, and then the data are further processed by using the KNN algorithm. The results show that this method can achieve higher accuracy under the consideration of the coupling between array elements.
