A Wideband Detection Array Antenna Based on Novel Multi-section Matching Network

This paper proposes a broadband detection array antenna working in IGHz∼3GHz. The antenna unit adopts printed log-periodic dipole antenna, and four printed log-periodic dipole antennas are used as radiation oscillator to form a
$2\times 2$
linear array. A broadband multi-section Wilkinson power divider is used as the feeding network. The feeding network can maintain good performance in IGHz∼3GHz. The simulated results show the broadband antenna array can satisfy VSWR
$< 1.7$
in IGHz∼3GHz and the antenna array gain is greater than 16dBi. It can be used in UWB radar and target detection.
