Fatigue Process Monitoring of Aluminum Alloy Materials Based on AE Technology

The analysis and monitoring of the fatigue process is always difficult in engineering projects. The traditional non-destructive testing technology has high demands on the site and personnel, and it is difficult to collect and analyze the data. AE(Acoustic Emission) technology has low cost and can realize real-time monitoring of fatigue cracks. In this paper, the acquisition of AE data is added in the fatigue process by using these characteristics of AE. At the same time, the innovative control chart method is introduced. According to the different AE characteristics of the three stages in the fatigue process, when the AE parameters fluctuate greatly, the control chart is used to judge that the material enters the stage of instability and fracture, and an early warning is issued, which realizes the rapid analysis of AE data and real-time monitoring of fatigue stage.
