The Construction of Supply Chain Carbon Performance Evaluation System Based on Analytical Hierarchy Process Method

This study builds a new index system from the three levels of government, supply chain, and third-party emission reduction technical support institutions in the context of promoting low-carbon economies in China, and it offers a solution for the government to address the issue of enterprise low-carbon development. Previous studies have looked at both the supply chain's overall carbon emissions as well as how to select suppliers in a way that will reduce indirect carbon emissions. In this article, a framework for measuring corporate carbon performance is developed. On how the government can use the assessment index system to the green and low-carbon development of Chinese businesses, some recommendations are made. The findings demonstrate that by increasing the share of R&D professionals, the production of renewable energy, and the business processes related to the three sensitive indicators of cost-profit margin, Businesses may reduce their carbon emissions significantly and improve their carbon performance.
