A Dual-band Inclined Polarized Hemispherical Luneberg-lens Antenna for Wide-angle Scanning

According to the practical application, most electrical performances of a spherical Luneberg-lens antenna on its hemi-half space can be realized by a hemispherical Luneberg-lens antenna mounted on a mental reflector plane. A 45-degree inclined polarized hemispherical Luneberg-lens antenna working on both centimeter-wave band ($f_{1}\sim 3*f_{1}$, a relative bandwidth of 100%) and millimeter-wave band ($f_{\mathrm{L}}\sim f_{\mathrm{I}\mathrm{I}}$, a relative bandwidth of 25%) is introduced in this paper. With two feed horns fixed, the proposed antenna can realize a beam scanning from 20 degree to 90 degree in elevation by rotating the lens antennas around their center.
