Broadband circularly polarized wearable metasurface antenna based on flexible material

In order to achieve a more stable effect of the wearable antenna, broadband, high-gain, circularly polarized, and low specific absorption rate (SAR) wearable metasurface wearable antenna is designed based on the flexible material polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). A new non-uniform mountain-shaped metasurface unit is proposed to realize the radiation of circularly polarized waves, and the conversion from linear polarization to circular polarization is realized by using slot coupling feeding. By using the human body simulation model to analyze whether the proposed wearable antenna is harmful to the human body, the SAR results show that it is harmless. The proposed wearable antenna can be used in 5 GHz wearable wireless communication devices due to its broadband and circular polarization and has excellent performance.
