On the Phase Change of Electric Field in the Elliptical Polarization of Antennas

The phase change of electric field in terms of time does not have a clear-cut form in the generalized elliptical polarization of antennas and it is clarified in this paper. Also, the comparison and analysis are made for the periodicity, monotonicity and slopes of the functions under two types of elliptical polarization by using the idea of limits and combining the properties of composite functions and basic elementary functions. Finally, the figures the electric field traces as a function of $\omega$t are obtained exactly and the basis for obtaining them is detailed. This paper solves the phase change of electric field in terms of time functions for elliptic polarization and can help the reader to better understand how the electric field traces as a function of time in the case of elliptical polarization.
