A Wideband Horn Antenna with Dielectric Lens Loaded

In this paper a wideband horn antenna with planar dielectric lens loaded is proposed. Traditional lens is the three-dimensional structure and fabricated with different materials, which has bulk size. This drawback limits the application of dielectric lens. To solve this problem, gradient index (GRIN) metamatetial has been used to planarize sphere lens in this paper. The proposed horn lens antenna has a gain above 27dBi in Ku band.
