Research on Ionospheric Es Characteristics in Qinghai-Tibet Region

The Sporadic E layer of the ionosphere is a space area that exists within 90km-130km above the ground. The electron density in the layer is high, which can be 100 times greater than that of the normal E layer. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, also known as the roof of the world, has a unique geographical location. It is significant to research on the Es characteristics of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding areas. According to the different value ranges of the critical frequency of the Es layer, the occurrence frequency of Es and the variation law of the critical frequency in the Qinghai-Tibet region of China are analyzed statistically and studied. Then some conclusions were drawn.
