Evaluation Method of Ship Electronic System Availability Based on Bayesian Inference

With the rapid development and advancement of ship electronic system technology, the requirements for the availability of ship electronic systems are becoming higher and higher. In this paper, a method for evaluating the availability of ship electronic systems based on Bayesian inference is proposed. Because of the advantages of multi-source information fusion and being applicable for small samples, the theory of Bayesian inference can be used to model the availability of ship electronic system, and the availability evaluation results of ship electronic systems can be obtained by Monte Carlo simulation. This method improves the reliability evaluation system of the ship electronic system and lays the foundation for improving the usability level.
